ACLU Vote Recommendation on Amash-Lofgren Amendment #24 to FY 2020 Minibus Appropriations Bill (Sec. 702 FISA Warrantless Surveillance)

In this vote recommendation, the ACLU urged Members of the House of Representatives to vote “YES” on Amendment #24 offered by Representatives Amash (MI) and Lofgren (CA) to the FY 2020 minibus appropriations bill, H.R. 2740. This amendment would restore constitutional protections and civil liberties for Americans by prohibiting use of funds for certain types of unlawful, warrantless surveillance by the NSA under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
