ACLU Vote Recommendation Opposing Gosar Amendment to H.R. 2577, the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2016

This vote recommendation, sent on June 3, 2015 to the House of Representatives, calls on Representatives to oppose Rep. Paul Gosar’s (R-AZ) Amendment to H.R. 2577, the fiscal year 2016 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (“T-HUD”) Appropriations Act of 2016. Rep. Gosar’s Amendment would prohibit the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) from using funds made available in the FY 2016 T-HUD appropriations bill for finalizing, implementing, and enforcing its Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Regulation and its Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Assessment Tool.”
