Coalition Letter on the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Consideration of the Authorization of Use of Military Force (AUMF)

This July, 24, 2017 letter, signed by the ACLU and other civil liberties, human right and faith groups, urges the House Foreign Affairs Committee to ensure that any AUMF is clear, specific, tailored to the particular situation for which force is being authorized, and comports with the international law obligations of the United States.
