Coalition Letter Opposing Policy Riders Harmful to Women's Health in FY17 Spending Bills

The ACLU and coalition partners sent this May 10 letter to leadership of the House and Senate appropriations committees, expressing strong opposition to the inclusion of ideological policy riders that are harmful to women’s health as the committees continue consideration of FY 2017 spending bills. The letter details poison-pill riders from prior years, and expresses opposition to additional policy riders that would defund Planned Parenthood or harm women’s health.
