Sign-On Letter to Senators Grassley and Whitehouse in Support of S. 1169, the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Reauthorization Act of 2015

This sign-on letter, sent on July 13, 2015, thanks Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) for sponsoring S. 1169, the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Reauthorization Act of 2015, and endorses the bill. S. 1169 would strengthen and update the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA), which has provided states and localities with federal standards and supports for improving juvenile justice and delinquency prevention practices and has contributed to safeguards for youth, families, and communities for more than 40 years.
