Sign-on Letter Supporting Whistleblower Reforms in FY17 NDAA

The ACLU signed this June 23 letter sent to conferees for the FY 2017 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), urging them to maintain specific military whistleblower provisions as they negotiate the differences between the House and Senate versions of the legislation. The provisions would strengthen whistleblower rights for servicemembers and overhaul the Department of Defense Inspector General whistleblower program.
