The ACLU hosted two parallel events in conjunction with the 54th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women: one highlighting the critical need for the U.S. to ratify the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, and one calling attention to the failure of the U.S. and other governments to live up to their obligations under international human rights law to protect domestic workers from abuse and exploitation. Check out photos and video from both events.
