Ask Sessions More Questions

Sen. Sessions must answer questions on Trump’s recent executive orders before the Senate votes on confirmation

Jeff Sessions – President Trump’s nominee for Attorney General – reportedly played a key advisory role in recent executive orders violating the civil rights and liberties of Muslim refugees, immigrants, people with disabilities, LGBT people, and other vulnerable groups.

The Senate Judiciary Committee never got to ask him about his positions on these orders and how he plans to implement them – so it’s crucial that they hold another hearing before the Senate votes to confirm.

The ACLU does not support or oppose any nominee, but we all have to make sure that senators know Sessions' record on discrimination before voting.
