ACLU Urges Congress to Reform Immigration Detention Centers to Treat Detained Immigrants with Fairness and Humanity

On October 3, 2017 the ACLU sent the letter below to Congress to urge members to cosponsor the Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act of 2017 (H.R. 3923), which would remove the profit motive from ICE detention centers and call for much needed oversight and reform in the immigrant detention system.
