Letter to Educators about Ally Week

A letter to principals and educators explaining Ally Week, ways to support students who are participating, and obligations schools have to protect students’ safety and freedom of speech.

If you’re a student who wants to participate in Ally Week, you can print this letter to explain to your school that you have a right to do so. If you find that your rights are still being violated, contact your local ACLU affiliate or the ACLU LGBT Project for more assistance!
