Jennifer (‘Jenn’) Reyes is a Paralegal in the Immigrants’ Rights Project. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Denison University. A recipient of a Davis Project for Peace grant, after college, Jenn managed a library and literacy project that sought to strengthen community between locals and refugees in Azraq, Jordan. Jenn then went on to serve as a member in the AmeriCorps New American Integration Program, where she assisted low-income immigrants at Action for Boston Community Development in Boston, MA to apply for citizenship. Jenn is a certified English as a Second Language teacher and an alumna of the Fulbright Program, in which she worked as an English Teaching Assistant at the Queen Rania Teacher Academy in Amman, Jordan. While in Amman, Jenn also supported the United Nations Refugee Works Agency for Palestinians in the Near East (UNRWA) Headquarters’ Education Department in creating and implementing programs and policies. Prior to joining IRP, Jenn spent a few years working with the Political Asylum Immigration Representation Project in Boston, MA where she helped facilitate pro bono representation for asylum seekers and detained immigrants in Massachusetts.
