ACLU Comment on Budget Passage
WASHINGTON — President Trump signed the congressional budget deal passed by the Senate and the House early today.
Lorella Praeli, American Civil Liberties Union director of immigration policy and campaigns, said:
“For the fourth time in two months, Congress passed a government spending bill without including protections for Dreamers. Despite the looming expiration of DACA, both Republicans and Democrats have left young immigrants lingering and vulnerable to Trump’s deportation force.”
