Freedom of Information Act litigation by the ACLU of Northern California and Asian Law Caucus exposed biased and factually flawed FBI training materials on Arab and Muslim culture. A 2009 FBI Power Point presentation, which reportedly was used to train new recruits, contained inappropriate stereotypes and gross generalizations that could only create more bias within the law enforcement community and lead to unfair targeting of Arab and Muslim American communities for investigation.
