FBI to probe fatal beating by Kern County deputies (latimes.com)
The FBI investigation into the police beating death of a California man will examine the cell phones police seized from witnesses at the scene to determine if they were tampered with. The witnesses claim to have recorded the beating on two cell phones police later seized from them without warrants, but the police now say only one phone has footage on it.
