John J. Towery, a civilian employee of Fort Lewis assigned to “Fort Lewis Force Protection,” posed undercover as an anarchist using the name “John Jacob” and took part in Olympia Port Militarization Resistance’s (OlyPMR) activities from 2007 until June 2009. Towery was one of several OlyPMR listserv administrators and therefore had direct access to OlyPMR membership lists.
