A Muslim civil rights activist and interfaith community leader prevailed in court in her effort to sue the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) after she was wrongfully placed on at least one terrorist watch list, and wrongfully detained, questioned, and searched at the Canadian-US border. The ruling could have a significant impact on the way that individuals obtain information about themselves from the government.
