ACLU-NJ hails new law giving almost every NJ worker paid earned sick days as an important moment for economic justice & human rights in NJ
The signing of a law by Governor Phil Murphy extending earned sick days to the majority of New Jersey workers comes as an important moment for the state.
The following statement can be attributed to ACLU-NJ Executive Director Amol Sinha:
“The guarantee that people can take time off when their health demands it benefits everyone in New Jersey — workers, parents, children, and anyone who comes in contact with another person.
