Discovery of hundreds of cameras in Anne Arundel buildings triggers fears of spying (washingtonpost.com)

The discovery of hundreds of surveillance cameras on county property in Anne Arundel, MD has sparked a state police investigation.  The cameras, which were purchased with grants from the Department of Homeland Security, were controlled by a county executive who was convicted of official misconduct in January, and accused of having compiled dossiers on political rivals.
