ACLU Letter to House in Support of the Paycheck Fairness Act (H.R. 1338)

On behalf of the American Civil Liberties Union, a non-partisan organization with hundreds of thousands of activists and members and 53 affiliates nationwide, we urge you to support the Paycheck Fairness Act (H.R. 1338) and to oppose any weakening amendments or any motion to recommit. H.R. 1338 amends the Equal Pay Act, one of the primary laws addressing pay discrimination. Because of this bill’s critical role inpromoting fairness for American workers, the ACLU intends to score this vote.
