Bio
Marissa Gerchick (she/her) is a Data Scientist and Algorithmic Justice Specialist with the ACLU’s Analytics Team. Previously, Marissa worked as a Data Scientist at the Stanford Computational Policy Lab, analyzing the use of algorithmic tools in governmental decision-making processes, and as a Technology Policy Fellow for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee through the TechCongress program, focusing on federal legislation and oversight to promote algorithmic accountability. Marissa holds a B.S. in Mathematical and Computational Science and an M.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
