The ACLU joined a coalition letter urging the Senate to consider H.R. 4018, a technical fix to the Elderly Home Detention Pilot Program, given the increased risks posed by COVID-19 to the elderly detained in federal prisons. The House passed H.R. 4018 on December 3, 2019.
