Proposed by Senator Vitter, amendment would defund Planned Parenthood Federation of America
On behalf of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), anonpartisan public interest organization dedicated to protecting theconstitutional rights of individuals, and its hundreds of thousands ofmembers, activists, and 53 affiliates nationwide, we urge you to vote againstSenator Vitter’s Amendment No. 601 to HR 1105, the OmnibusAppropriations Act of 2009, that would prohibit the disbursement of Title Xfamily planning funds to Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
