In this letter to the leadership of House and Senate appropriations committees, which are working to finalize legislation for Fiscal Year 2017 appropriations, the ACLU and coalition partners expressed opposition to the inclusion of ideological policy riders that are harmful to women’s health. The letter was sent a little more than a week before the April 28 expiration of a continuing resolution, which has kept the federal government running since being passed in December 2016.
