The ACLU and coalition partners sent this September 8 letter to leadership of the House and Senate appropriations committees, to express strong opposition to the inclusion of ideological policy riders that are harmful to women’s health in FY 2017 spending bills. The letter was issued as Congress works to prepare legislation to fund the government past September 30, the end of the fiscal year.
