These sign on comments from over 60 faith leaders, criminal justice reform groups, and civil and human rights advocates, including the ACLU, commend the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for its proposed rule which would require federal agencies to delay inquiries into a job applicant’s conviction history until the hiring agency has made a conditional offer of employment (also known as "ban the box").
