ACLU's Mobile Justice MD app is a powerful police accountability tool. It can be used by those in communities experiencing racial profiling, over-policing, and military-style policing tactics -- along with their allies -- to record police encounters and be assured that the recording is safe. If the video is submitted with an incident report with details about the situation being recorded, the ACLU of Maryland's legal staff will review it. In addition, Mobile Justice educates Marylanders about their rights and provide an opportunity for them to be more engaged in the movement for police accountability reform.
