The ACLU sent this vote recommendation in advance of the House’s consideration of H.R. 5485, the FY 2017 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act, urging Representatives to vote YES on an amendment from Rep. Grayson. The amendment was proposed to strike a rider in the bill that would deny insurance coverage for abortion to federal employees and their dependents.
