The ACLU and coalition partners in this letter urged members of the House of Representatives to oppose H.R. 36, the "Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act." H.R. 36 would impose a dangerous and unconstitutional nationwide pre-viability ban on abortion, and is a blatant attempt to deny women their constitutional rights and threaten the health of people in the United States.
